Phil is a veteran West Michigan singer-songwriter who has written over 30 songs during his music career. Phil is credited with two full-length recordings, New Road Home and Reaching Deeper, and in addition has contributed original songs in each of the two Standing Together compilation CDs produced locally.

Phil has performed with a number of area bands, notably Mid-Life Crisis as an adjunct member and guest performer on guitar, mandolin and vocals. Farewell to the Moon is his latest songwriting effort. Phil continues to focus his company One World Music as a direct channel to link his philanthropic efforts to community fundraising campaigns in West Michigan. Over the years, he has helped raise nearly $250,000 for the benefit of the at-risk students of GRPS, as well as Kids’ Food Basket, the Ronald McDonald House, and West Michigan Center for Arts & Technology (WMCAT).

MLC (Mid-Life Crisis) is a popular, award-winning Grand Rapids band that has been rocking West Michigan since 2001. This versatile group of six friends and experienced musicians draws musical inspiration from every decade and knows how to get a crowd to their feet with their fun, high-energy performances. They headline major festivals and open for legendary bands in venues including DeVos Hall and Van Andel Arena. One of Phil’s great honors has been to co-write songs with MLC friends Kevin Paul and Steve Bloom, and work in the studio and on stage with this seminal band. More details at www.mlcband.com
